CourtSync ("we", "us", "our") provides a platform for organizing padel matches, tournaments, rankings, and related community interactions.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect user and device data when you use the CourtSync mobile application.
Who this policy applies to
This policy applies to users of the CourtSync app, including users who create an account with email/password or sign in using Google.
Data we collect
- Account and identity data: name, email address, phone number, user identifier.
- Profile data: region/city/country/department, level/rating information, optional profile demographics.
- Authentication data: login/session token metadata needed to maintain secure access.
- User content and activity: match participation, tournament participation, chat messages, notification interactions.
- Device/app data: push notification token, app diagnostics, crash logs, performance traces, analytics events.
- Location data: precise or approximate location when users grant permission and use location-based features.
How we use data
- Create and manage user accounts.
- Provide app features (matches, tournaments, chats, rankings, notifications).
- Secure accounts and prevent abuse.
- Diagnose crashes, monitor performance, and improve service quality.
- Comply with legal obligations.
Data sharing
We do not sell personal data.
Data may be processed by service providers used to operate the app, such as Firebase services (analytics, crash reporting, messaging, performance) and Sentry (error monitoring and diagnostics).
Data may also be disclosed when legally required or necessary for fraud prevention, security, or legal claims.
Data retention
We retain personal data only as long as needed for service delivery and legal/security obligations.
When account deletion is requested and approved, personal account data is deleted or anonymized, except where retention is required by law, security, or legitimate compliance needs.

Users may also request access, correction, or deletion support through CourtSync support channels.
Children
CourtSync is not intended for children under 13. If we learn that personal data of a child under 13 has been collected without appropriate authorization, we will take steps to delete it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.
Advertising Identifier
Our application may use the Android Advertising ID provided by the operating system (e.g., Android 13 and above) for analytics and app performance measurement purposes.
We do not use the Advertising ID to serve personalized advertisements or to track users across third-party applications for advertising purposes.
The Advertising ID, if collected, is used strictly for:
- Measuring app usage and performance.
- Improving user experience and application stability.
- Detecting and preventing fraud or abuse.
Users can reset or delete their Advertising ID at any time through their device settings.
International processing
Depending on infrastructure providers, user data may be processed in different regions. We apply safeguards appropriate to the processing context.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date.
